Order Payments:

Payments are to be made prior to dispatch of all orders online and offline.

Online - Fast and secure payment options available with Credit or Debit card or via PayPal.

Offline - Fast and secure payment options available with Credit or Debit card via Contactless, Chip & Pin or Cash. On collection.

Products:

Biltong - We cut and package Biltong to order and generally can dispatch your order the same or next day depending on what time you have placed your order. If we run out of biltong and are unable to cover your ordered amount. We shall contact you to offer a refund of that line or if you are happy to wait for the next batch to dry we shall send out your order when ready.

We will advise you either way if an item is not available or just sold out.

Droewors, Stokkies, Boerewors - We pre-pack these products. If Biltong South cannot full fill your order as sometimes we can oversell on these products through collection orders and online orders. This can also mean waiting for more products to be available. We shall contact you to offer a refund of that line or if you are happy to wait.

We will advise you either way if an item is not available or just sold out.

SA Favourites - We will do everything possible to make sure your parcel gets to you and is packaged very well. Once your parcel is in the hands or either Courier Biltong South use, This is where Biltong South's responsibility ends. Biltong South will cover the cost for damaged in transit products such as ripped packaging or destroyed goods. Biltong South will not replace or refund for cosmetic damages in transit such as a dented tinned products, broken chocolate bars, bent Beacon Fizzers or broken Koeksisters ect. Unless returned at your cost.

Biltong South will refund you for the cosmetic damages providing the cosmetic damaged goods are returned back to Biltong South at your cost. Once recieved and inspected Biltong South will start the refund process for the damaged goods. If you placed your order when Biltong South had an active automatic discount running on you cart page, this will reflect on your refund amount and Biltong South will refund you the amount paid per item with discount applied at that time not the full product cost.

Best Before Dates - On some occasions you may receive products close to the BB Date. Biltong South will not replace or refund for these goods for being close to the BB Date. Biltong South do everything possible to make sure Products and BB Dates are rotated. If the BB Date has expired when you have purchased a product we shall contact you before sending your order to confirm you are happy with the goods in question or would like a refund. If products are past their BB Date we will add the the BB Date on the product discription heading.

Biltong South will not replace or refund for these goods bought under offer stating past the BB Date on the product description heading.

If you receive products that are passed the BB Date and were not bought under offer, Biltong South will offer either a full refund of the products total value paid that are past the BB Date or offer a store Discount Coupon for the product value amount. If a refund has been requested and you placed your order when Biltong South had an active automatic discount running on you cart page, this will reflect on your refund amount and Biltong South will refund you the amount paid per item with discount applied at that time not the full product cost.

Biltong South reserve the right to amend advertised prices without prior notification for any of the products available.

Postage:

Biltong South's standard mainland UK delivery service is:

Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For up to 2kg of products.

Any orders over 2kg we may use DHL or DPD

Biltong South reserve the right to amend or change the offered prices at any given time.

If you are outside of the UK mainland and Biltong South can still post to you. We may contact you for extra shipping costs due to higher courier charges. Biltong South will contact you to discuss either paying the extra shipping costs or cancelling your order and refunding you the order amount paid. We cover UK only.

Biltong South will do everything possible to make your shopping with us a pleasant experience. Your order is packed with great care so you receive it in perfect condition.

Once your parcel is in the hands of either Courier Biltong South use for getting your products to you, this is where Biltong South's responsibility ends for,

if you are not home you may receive a postal delivery card, your parcel might have to be collected from the local post office or DHL/ DPD depot.

Biltong South cannot be held responsible for any spoilage which may occur in this instance.

If you are not available to receive courier deliveries please contact us to arrange for a specific day for delivery wherever possible and we will do our best to have your products delivered. Please remember we have no control over any couriers and can only advise them on delivering. If such courier fails to deliver on time Biltong South cannot be held responsible for courier error.

Charges incurred for re-delivery or re-direction or spoilage resulting from delayed delivery will be charged to you.

Any amendment to delivery instructions will only be accepted before the goods are dispatched.

Biltong South advise that if you are frequently out, you give a delivery address where somebody will be home or your work or a neighbour’s address.

Biltong South reserve the right to amend our advertised prices without prior notification for all delivery costs.

Biltong South will not entertain any refunds of products ordered due to late deliveries until 10 working days (Monday to Friday) after your order has been updated to status (Shipped) you will also receive your order update via email to confirm your order has been shipped. Providing you have supplied Biltong South the Correct email. Biltong South cannot be held responsible for incorrect supplied email addresses or contact details on your order summary.

Order Processing For postage -

Biltong South will only process orders for posting Monday to Thursday. Unless prior arrangements are made.

This means that if you order on a Thursday after 12pm, Friday, Saturday, Sunday or any Bank Holiday Monday at any time of the day we will not process your order to post until the following Monday or Tuesday if placed on a Bank Holiday Monday.

Click & Collect -

Click & Collect option is available on checkout.

Order Processing For Click & Collect -

Biltong South will only process orders for Click & Collect Monday to Friday

9am till 6pm - Saturday & Bank Holiday Monday 9am till 12pm - Sunday closed. Unless prior arrangements are made.

This means that if you order on a Saturday after 12 pm or Sunday any time of the day we will not process your order until the following Monday. Or Tuesday if Bank Holiday Monday.

How it works - once you have placed your order for click & collect. We receive your order and will update to (processing)

We are now processing your order to your requirements. Once your order has been complete and packed we shall update your order to (ready for collection)

We will send you a text message to arrange a collection time to suit whens best to collect your order.

Through each stage of your order you will receive email updates at every stage till you collected your order.

Complaints -

All complaints will be dealt with on merit and are to be made by email only within 24 hours of receipt of your order,

Giving full details of condition of goods, packaging and sales order number you will find on the invoice attached or in any email updates about your order.

Claims and complaints made after this period (24 Hours) may not be entertained.

We aim to respond within 24 hours to your complaint and to replace any destroyed products within a reasonable time frame depending on stock availability etc.

We take a great deal of care in providing high quality ready to eat products and to supply the best imported South African products.

Products for your order are selected with your preferences in mind or special instructions, So that we are sure you will be happy with what you receive.

Parcel packing is done meticulously to ensure that you receive your order in the best possible condition and is then sent to you by courier. Biltong South also fully recycle all of our packaging so on some occasions you might receive your order packed in an Oumas Rusks box

That is why we are prepared to give you a 100% guarantee on the quality of the products.

Returns Policy -

If you decide that you no longer wish to keep your purchase for some other reason. Then our 7-day refund guarantee applies.

Our 7-day refund guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase you can return it to us in its original condition within 7 days of the date you received the item.

Products unopened with any seals and vac-pack bags intact. Biltong South will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item.

You the customer are responsible for covering the cost for the returned items.

Biltong South will only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty or destroyed and have been notified within 24 hours of delivery.

Please note that Biltong South reserve the right to send back items to you that have been returned to us after 7 days unless they are faulty or destroyed.

You have the right to cancel within seven days of the receipt of the goods. If you cancel your order you will have your payment returned once the products ordered have been recieved back and inspected by Biltong South.

You the customer will be responsible for the cost of the postage on returning goods.

Biltong South will be responsible for the cost of the postage for the replacement goods.

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Fresh / Frozen or perishable products may not be returned.

Privacy Policy -

We store only your name, and contact information for delivery and accounting purposes. We will not sell, rent, or share your details with any other organisation.
